| New production techniques have allowed us to improve upon the design. The original tub used side filler plates, because the width of the new tub was smaller than the factory tub. The new, more complex design that will have sides that angle in. We now, also manufacture to a higher tolerance, so instead of placing the tub in from the top to determine the hole locations, you can now put it in upside down to do the same. This makes installation easier. The old design was cut manually. It's now cut by laser. The old tube was stitch welded and the new is folded tabs with spot welding. Easier install, cleaner finish, stronger and lower price. |
